Shinobue Class

BAMBOO FLUTE SCHOOL

The "Shinobue," loved in Japan for a long time.

It has a simple structure with a "utaguchi" (mouthpiece) and "finger holes" on thin bamboo called "shinodake," yet it produces a rich and expressive tone.It's a melody instrument indispensable for taiko drumming performances.

It's often played in traditional festival music, but it can also play modern songs like J-pop and Western music.
